Country Ministries
Population
~1 % of the English population is evangelical.

Evangelical: Followers who generally emphasize the Lord Jesus Christ as the sole source of salvation through faith in Him.

Church
In Yorkshire, the percentage that goes to church once a month or more is 0.9%; evangelicals account for only 0.4%. Both figures are still falling. This is comparable to the state of affairs in Japan.
Religion
51% of people agree that religion in Britain is in terminal decline.
21st Century
Statistics from the Office of National Statistics published in 2019 showed that the number of non-religious people in Britain has increased by 46% since 2011.
